How we rank nets
Each net is scored on luck, strength, swing speed, acquisition difficulty, and zone relevance. A net that is perfect in the Desert but useless in Grasslands is ranked by its peak use case.
S-tier nets

- Sentinel's Net — best all-rounder; strong in every zone.
A-tier nets
Black Hole Net, Dark Matter Net, Cactus Net, Steampunk Net, Scorpion Net, Dreamcatcher Net, Spider Silk Net, Glowworm Net, and Bone Net all sit in A-tier. Bone Net and Scorpion Net are the most impactful mid-to-late game purchases.

When to upgrade
Do not chase S-tier before you have Royal Net and a functioning vivarium. The ROI on Fast Net (8k) and Royal Net (76k) is higher than skipping straight to endgame gear you cannot reach yet.
