Net Upgrade Order Guide
Buying the wrong net at the wrong time is the most expensive mistake in Catch Bugs. This guide gives you the exact purchase order and explains when to pivot from luck to strength.
Early game: Starter → Fast → Royal
Starter Net → Fast Net (8k) → Royal Net (76k). This trio carries you through Grasslands, Crawlwood, Moon Hollow, and into Deeproot Caves.
Mid game: Secret Tomb → Bone Net
Collect all three tomb keys, enter the Secret Tomb, and buy the Bone Net (200M) from Anpu. This is your luck net for the rest of the game.
Late game: Scorpion Net & beyond
Buy Scorpion Net (250M) when heavy bugs like Colossal Sandworm block your captures. Endgame: Black Hole, Dark Matter, Sentinel, Wendigo.
When to swap nets
Keep Bone Net equipped for rare hunting. Swap to Scorpion Net when capture fails due to weight. Swap back after the catch.
